If you are a contractor who would like to employ union millwrights, you must first contact the local union office nearest you.
Once you establish the initial contact, we can set up an appointment for you to come in and meet with us, during which time you will be asked to become signatory to the collective agreement. Through the terms of this agreement, you immediately gain access to a labour-ready supply of skilled millwrights and apprentices; in turn, our members are guaranteed union wages and benefits. It's a win-win system for everyone.
Although you do not have to be a member of the Association of Millwrighting Contractors of Ontario (AMCO) to be an MRCO contractor, we would advise contacting them to discuss the benefits of membership.
